In February my best friend got married, and so Kara, Sophie and I hopped on a plane and headed down to Texas.
Here are some wedding pictures:
I had a blast! It was very, very fun getting to leave the girls with my parents, take a road trip with my best friend, and hang out with my high school friends for a few days. I even got to give a toast! The 2 girls in this last picture and I are all best friends, and so all 3 of us gave the "maid of honor" toast. Of course we all pretty much just bawled our eyes out, but it was a treat just to do it.

One night three of us girls that went to high school together decided to have a play-date with our kids. For some reason we never really put it together that we each have 2 girls, and they are all pretty much a year apart. Michelle has a 4 (turning 5 this month) year-old and 18 month-old, I have a 4 and 2 year old, and Sherry has a 3 and almost-1 year-old.

I am so glad that Kara has friends she can play with when she visits her grandparents. Although my parents have a ton of things to keep their granddaughters occupied, it's always fun to have friends. (Speaking of things to keep their granddaughters occupied, I'm still waiting on those climbing pictures dad!)
