ven though we have been struck by the Big D Bandit, (see post below for more details. Or don’t. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. You probably just don’t want to read it. There, I warned you) we can’t stop ourselves from enjoying this beautiful weather. Kara had her friends over this morning and they wanted some popsicles. So I gave them some, but then Sophie realized that they had something she didn’t and cried about it as if the world was going to end. So I got one for Sophie, plopped her down on the grass, and started snapping pictures. She was pretty funny about her first encounter with a popsicle: she did not have any interest in having the paper towel around it. Threw that right off. Then started going to town even though she couldn’t figure out how to get the food out of the plastic. Here. See for yourself. Much cuter in pictures!
Oh yeah, I can tell this is going to be good!
Ok so if I can’t get it from the top maybe I can from the side.
Sad face because we took it away. Kara wanted to drink the melted popsicle (which happens to be my favorite part too), but Sophie could not believe that Kara would take it away from her.
Ok fine! Take it back!
Mmmm
Got a mouthful there don’t ya?
