Oh My.

I am sitting here on a perfectly lovely Monday evening listening to the sounds of life in my house. Right now, the sounds are:
-Kara, playing with her dolly and telling her "no, no, you can't do that." and other such scoldings
-Evens, grunting with frustration as he tries to unclog a toilet that earlier Kara tried to flush a really thick paper cup in. It almost worked too. Darn small pipes.
-Sophie, babbling animatedly as she plays in her jumpy thingy.

We planned on FINALLY putting away Christmas decorations tonight. Yeah, that's not gonna happen. I'm sure we'll get them down before we leave for Texas... right? Maybe. My dad is flying in to drive Kara, Sophie and me down to Texas. Evens is planning on flying out a week or so later, spend a week in Texas, and then we'll drive home. I can not wait to get out of this nasty weather. We have been sick for so long that I don't remember what it was like to feel healthy. Any of us. Ugh. I need to attach hoses to Sophie's nose to collect all the snot that keeps dripping out of them. I can't keep up with it fast enough! Poor girl. And it probably wouldn't hurt to just attach an alubertol inhaler in mine and Sophie's nose either... miserable.

Anyway, I hear Evens starting on Christmas, woo hoo! So I better go help...
